Saudi Aramco, the largest oil and gas company in the Middle East, is the latest major operator to formally approve Ď㽶´«Ă˝â€™s corrosion monitoring technology. The WAND system has performed successfully throughout the trials, having been installed on pipework and vessels across 6 Saudi Aramco gas plants and refineries in remote, harsh environments throughout the Saudi Arabian summer last year.
Ď㽶´«Ă˝â€™s patented, ultrasonic WAND system enables highly cost-effective internal corrosion monitoring of pipework and vessels. Unlike alternative corrosion monitoring solutions, the WAND sensors are battery-free, wireless and can be embedded underneath coating or insulation. Anyone can acquire accurate, repeatable measurements.
Dr. Cheng Huan Zhong, CTO of Ď㽶´«Ă˝, says “This is a big achievement for the team, we have experienced rapid growth over the last 7 years, these approvals serve to validate our efforts and demonstrate the growing confidence in our technology. Saudi Aramco marks the 7th major operator to approve WAND for use within their organisation - we are now in a very positive position to roll out larger volume deployments to customers on a global scale, delivering significant cost and time savings and improving the quality of data”
